After many delays and lots of uncertainty, Max Payne 3 finally has a more specific release window. Rockstar Games has announced Max Payne 3 will slowly shoot his way into our lives in March 2012 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Here’s a story refresher: The game takes place after Max Payne 2. Max is now living in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he works as private security for the family of a rich industrialist. All is going well until the family comes under attack. Max is suspected in some way, so he has to kill his way to the bottom of this. And yes, Bullet-Time is making a return.
Max Payne 3 will also have a multiplayer component. Without getting too specific, Rockstar describes the multiplayer as “a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match.”
That’s all the details Rockstar is willing to give up right now. Let’s just hope Max Payne 3 doesn’t suffer any more delays.
