As usual, we’ll start with the Deal of the Day and Lightning Deals. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Batman: Arkham City are highlighted today, and both marked down to $39.99 from $59.99. It’s not a fantastic deal, since both versions were $28 on Black Friday, but it’s still something. The day also started with 26 Lightning Deals scheduled to appear. Just like with Black Friday week though, Amazon’s been adding deals to the Lightning Deal box throughout the day.
Here are the Lightning Deals for Cyber Monday 2011. As usual, I’ll come by later and update the list.
Whew. Okay, that’s finally done. Let’s move on to some downloads. First, a ton of casual games have all been marked down to $1.99 and an assortment of standard download games have had at least a 50% mark down. The official Amazon page for both sales says there are 310 casual games and 172 standard PC games to choose from. These are typically Windows downloads, so keep that in mind while browsing. In addition, three EA downloads have been drastically reduced. You can get Battlefield 3 (Windows) for $29.99, Crysis 2 (Windows) for $9.99 and Need for Speed: The Run (Windows) for $19.99.
Amazon is also hyping up two Xbox 360 deals. Anyone who buys the 4gb Xbox 360 Kinect bundle for $299.99 can get a copy of Dance Central 2 for free with it. It’s a pretty good deal, considering Dance Central 2 has gone for as much as $49.99. (It’s been much cheaper over the last week or so though, due to sales.) Also, the Kinect holiday bundle with Gunstringer and Fruit Ninja is on sale at Amazon for $99.99.
Finally, there’s the general Amazon Cyber Monday 2011 game section. Lots of games and accessories are on sale there, so go ahead and sift through them. Some of the more prominent titles include Battlefield 3 (PS3, Xbox 360), Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (Wii), God of War Collection (PS3), Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3, Xbox 360) and many other awesome games.
