We’ve got two bits of information about Starhawk to share with you today. First, Starhawk will be released on May 8, 2012. Secondly, the public beta for Starhawk‘s multiplayer mode begins today. The beta is only open to select players right now, but everyone will be able to take part in the beta on February 21.
Starting today, PlayStation Plus subscribers and those who were in the Starhawk private beta can start playing the public beta today. The rest of the rollout schedule is as follows.
January 31 – Uncharted 3 beta key holders
February 7 – Beta keys will be given out on Facebook by GameStop and PlayStation
February 14 – IGN.com will give out codes
February 21 – Beta is open to everyone with a PSN account
We also managed to grab a video of Starhawk‘s single-player mode while at CES 2012. Let me tell you, it looks really good in person.
