In a recent message posted on the official Gears of War forums, Epic’s Vice President Mark Rein said this about the next update for the Xbox 360’s popular first-person shooter, “The next Gears of War update is coming along nicely. We don’t have a release timeframe for it yet but I just wanted to let you know we’re making significant progress.”
The update contains new achievements for the game based on the newest online mode Annex and the Hidden Fronts map pack. Also included with the update will be improvements to some gameplay issues such as the previously updated run and cover controls, which the game’s designers call roadie run, and fixes to some of the glitches players have been exploiting in online matches.
The update will be free to all players with the game and an Xbox Live account.
