We may not know what Assassin’s Creed III is about, but we do know when it’ll be released. Ubisoft confirmed during its Q3 earnings call that Assassin’s Creed III will be released on October 30, 2012. Assassin’s Creed III has apparently been in development for three years. Ubisoft expects this game to be a very profitable addition to its bottom line this year.
Ubisoft didn’t give any details about Assassin’s Creed III. We’re free to draw our own conclusions based on possible clues left behind by Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. Alternatively, we can choose to put more stock into a CVG report from late January that said the next Assassin’s Creed will take place during the American Revolution. I still find that a little hard to swallow given the lack of acrobatic-friendly structures in early America, but Ubisoft could surprise us.
