Bethesda has a wonderful surprise for people who jumped into the Fallout or Elder Scrolls series with Fallout: New Vegas or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. People will get to play catch up with the Fallout 3 & Oblivion Double Pack. As you can guess from the title, it includes copies of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The bundles will be out fairly soon too. You’ll see them in stores on April 3, 2012. Unfortunately, they won’t be available for all platforms. Windows gamers can grab their copy for $19.99, while Xbox 360 owners can go with a $29.99 bundle. No Fallout 3 & Oblivion Double Pack for the PS3!

It seems like the pack will just include the base games. There won’t be any free DLC or expansion packs included. I doubt it’ll matter much. I mean, you are getting two huge games that will each probably steal at least 50 hours of your life.

In case you’re wondering, this is a pretty good deal. You’d probably end up spending between $8-10 for a copy of Fallout 3 and around $20 for a copy of Oblivion for the Xbox 360. The pricing would probably be similar for PC copies as well. So to get both for $20 or $30 isn’t bad at all.
