A new mobile Assassin’s Creed is coming in December using GREE Platform

Assassin’s Creed III will be gracing consoles in late October, but Ubisoft is also planning a new Assassin’s Creed for iOS and Android for December. That’s not all though. The new AC will be coming to GREE Platform. GREE Platform will launch in the United States during the second quarter of 2012 (between April and June).

GREE Platform is basically a mobile social network for games. Chances are you’ve encountered similar services such as OpenFeint at one point. GREE actually purchased OpenFeint for $104 million last year. GREE is most certainly going to use OpenFeint’s assets and community to get a head start in the United States.

GREE has also teamed with Gameloft on an upcoming card game game called Gang Dominion. It will be released in June.
