Your neighborhood-friendly Redbox is going to have quite the promotion going on starting Sunday February 26 through March 1. Next week kicks off Redbox’s Free Game Nights promotion which offers customers one free PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii game that can be kept for a day.
In order to get your free game, you’ll have to reserve it from the Redbox website. That means you have to sign up and attach a credit card to your account. Redbox is not allowing reservations on games to be made through its iOS and Android apps. You also can’t rent a free game directly from Redbox without reserving it first.
Should you choose to keep a game for more than a day, you’ll be charged $2 for each additional night. Marathon gaming sessions are encouraged.
Keep in mind some games require online passes to access multiplayer. You’re not going to get those with a Redbox rental.
Here is a short list of some of the games that will be up for grabs.
