Lollipop Chainsaw’s Juliet enjoys cosplay

Lollipop Chainsaw is about more than a teenage cheerleader with a chainsaw hurtling through waves of the undead. It’s also about fashion. Juliet, our heroine, is able to wear all kinds of different outfits while going slaying some zombies. While most of the outfits we’ve heard about so far are pre-order DLC, it turns out a bunch of anime-inspired clothing will be included on the disc.

In Japan, Lollipop Chainsaw is associating itself with other successful properties by offering costumes of famous characters for Juliet. So even though it’s really her fighting the monsters, you can pretend it’s another one of your favorite characters. Appropriately enough, most of these cross-overs involve mangas or animes where the lead characters are also fightint zombies!

So, here are the four confirmed cosplay costumes for Juliet:

• Deadman Wonderland‘s Shiro
• High School of the Dead‘s Rei
• High School of the Dead‘s Saeko
• Kore wa Zombie Desu ka‘s Haruna
• Manyuu Hiken-Cho‘s Chifusa

The second part of that trailer talks about voice acting.

It’s not content that’s absolutely necessary, but it is nice to know it will be there for free and everyone’s going to get it.
