It comes a time in every online game’s life when it must die in order for newer games to live. For a couple handfuls of EA games, that time is coming very soon. EA will shut down servers for over 10 games between March 31 and April 13. Is a game you’re playing among them?

Some of these games are old and probably don’t have much of an online community at all. EA would rather send these online-enabled games on their way rather than continue spending money to keep their servers online. Then again, titles such as EA Sports Active 2.0 and MMA are just over a year old. That must mean these games didn’t do so well.

The list of soon-t0-be offline games is below.

March 31, 2012 Shutdowns

  • Battlefield: Aftershock for iOS (not available for download anymore)
  • Fantasi Safari for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch
  • Ghost Harvest for iPhone

April 13, 2012 Shutdowns

  • BOOM BLOX Bash Party for Wii
  • Burnout Revenge for Xbox 360
  • EA Create for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
  • EA Sports Active 2.0 for PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360
  • EA Sports Active NFL Training Camp for Wii
  • FIFA 10 for PlayStation Portable and Wii
  • The Godfather II for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
  • MMA for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360
