It’s happening again! I’d let out an overly dramatic, anguished cry of “Oh no, my poor wallet!” but I’ve actually been itching for some new Android games. The Humble Indie bundle is back again and they’re doing the Android thing again. The Humble Bundle for Android 2 gives people the opportunity to get five games for four platforms at a great price while also supporting indie developers and charity. Everybody wins again. It is also the first time all five of the games are available for Android devices.
The basic bundle has no price. You can pay whatever you want and get Avadon, Canabalt, Cogs and Zen Bound 2 for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. (Avadon only works on Android tablets, and not Android smartphones.) If you pay more than the current average, which was $5.41 at 12:20pm CST on March 19, 2012, then you also get Swords & Soldiers. I’m sure more games will be added before the bundle disappears.
Here’s the trailer showing what you can expect from each game.
This bundle will be around for 14 more days. On April 2, 2012, it’ll be gone for good. If you decide to buy this, you get DRM-free installers, Steam codes, soundtracks for everything except Avadon and can decide if you support the developers, the Humble Bundle people or Child’s Play and Electronic Frontier Foundation.
I’ve only played one of the games from this bundle and that’s Swords & Soldiers. It was so awesome that I’d highly suggest buying this bundle just for that game.
