GTA IV will not be delayed

When Take Two Interactive’s board of directors was replaced following a shareholder revolt earlier this year, many industry insiders speculated that the company’s restructuring could lead to the delay of Grand Theft Auto IV. After months of wondering, it seems that this is not the case. In an investor conference call this past Monday, executives restated that the release date for GTAIV will still be October 16, 2007, in the US for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 home consoles.

In addition, the company announced that the second official GTA IV trailer will be released on June 28, 2007, titled “Looking for that Special Someone.”
