OMGPOP reveals new features in upcoming Draw Something update

OMGPOP got a little more official about an upcoming Draw Something update. Last week OMGPOP mentioned it was looking into adding a chat feature and the ability to save drawings, but that’s not all we can look forward to. OMGPOP outlined a bunch of new features in an email to players this weekend.

Some of these updates are quite basic, but are sorely needed. For example, the Android version of Draw Something is getting notifications. Players will no longer have to constantly start up Draw Something in order to see if their partner(s) have played their turn. If you’re already in the game, you’ll also be able to update the game status with a “pull down to refresh” feature.

Here are some more things OMGPOP will include in the future.

• Share drawings on Facebook and Twitter
• Save drawings to a device’s gallery
• Undo button
• Streaks will be increased from 99 to 999
• New words
• Bug fixes and optimizations
