Peter Payne’s site specializing in all thing Japanese, J-List (and J-Box for the under-18 crowd), has posted a few new videogame related items.
For today’s installment, one of the silliest licensed products I’ve seen – the Chocobo Seat Cushion.
I’d get this just to psych out opponents at game tourneys. Sit there, looking all tough and bad ass. Then, when that crucial moment in the game arrives when you need to score the winning move/kill/slash, stand up and reveal the glory that is the bright, yellow Chocobo seat cushion.
The seat sells for $38 plus shipping. Only 8 in stock, so hurry.
From the site:
“The loveable yet somehow dangerous huge yellow bird (no relation to Sesame Street) from the world of Final Fantasy is back, in a big way, with this huge iconic cushion that you can keep around for sheer gazing pleasure, as a mascot, or for bopping your favorite aho (fool). If you have a few you could even use them as zabuton (sitting cushions). 15 inches wide, 17 inches tall, with about 2 inches of ground (or wall) clearance. Kweh! (Wark!). An official Square Enix product.”
