Here’s another PC gaming item from Peter Payne’s site that specializes in all thing Japanese, J-List (and J-Box for the under-18 crowd).
The black 14 Degrees Mouse Pad by Elecom costs only $14 and offers a better angle than the standard wristpad/mousepad combo. The ergonomic wizards in Japan somehow decided that 14 degrees is the optimum angle for positing the wristpad and mousepad from each other, so who are we to disagree?
From the site:
“While the wrist rest is soft and comfortable, the pad area for your mouse is hard enough to maneuver your mouse without problems; it’s base fans out slightly to accommodate wide sweeps. The name 14 degrees refers to the angle the wristpad is to the pad itself, perfect positioning if your mousepad is slightly off to the side as most are. With a rubber base that grips the surface it stands on, it won’t move around on your desk like other mousepads will.”
