On Wednesday, June 20, 2007, a new turn-based strategy game titled Band of Bugs was released by developer Ninja Bee on Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points ($10 US).
Although the game appeals to fans of turn-based strategy games like Worms, the gameplay is said to be easy enough for causal gamers to pick up and play as well.
The game includes a single player story mode and multiplayer modes (Elimination, Escape, and Capture) over Xbox Live for up to eight players. This is also one of the few games out now to offer Xbox Live Vision Cam support and it is the only game on Xbox Live Arcade with a full level editor.
Ninja Bee also offers two other games on Xbox Live Arcade, the previously released Outpost Kaloki X and Cloning Clyde.
