Gravity Rush is coming out June 12, 2012, which means it’s just about time to hear about pre-orders. Huh, that’s weird. The second I typed that, a press release magically appeared saying people get a free DLC pack if they pre-order Gravity Rush from Amazon or GameStop. That’s awfully convenient!

If you go to either of those stores and commit to Gravity Rush, you get the Military DLC Pack. This gives you four bonus missions that can be accessed during the main storyline. The first two missions are Challenge Missions called Factory Energy Gate Race 2 and Slide Race in Another Dimension that can be played after beating both Episode 8 and 11. The two side missions, Game Rules and Visionary Courage, open up after beating Episode 17. Complete Game Rules and Kat gets a military uniform to wear.

Personally, I’m not psyched about Gravity Rush and I don’t get why everyone else is. I’ve played through the demo about three times on different Vita demo stations and I just don’t get it. Yes, it looks pretty and it does make use of a lot of the Vita’s fancy capabilities, but it wasn’t all that interesting or fun. If anything, it felt like work and I guess I just didn’t get it. Oh well, hopefully there are a lot of people out there who will.
