May is going to be a great month for PlayStation Plus subscribers

PlayStation Plus is continuing to be an amazing value to gamers. Every time the winds of doubt come flowing back, Sony announces upcoming PlayStation Plus content that makes buying a subscription hard to resist. Next month, be prepared to get overwhelmed with free content.

PS Plus subscribers are getting Trine 2, Rock of Ages, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Castlevania Chronicles and Awesomenauts for free in May. In addition to that, Sony also giving PS Plus subscribers access to the PixelJunk 4am beta.

The normal offering of discounts and full game trials will still be around. A digital version of Saint’s Row: The Third will also be offered for $47.99 on May, and trials for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Rayman Origins, Assassin’s Creed Revelations and more will be available throughout the month.

For the record, a three month PS Plus subscription is $17.99 and a year’s subscription is $49.99.
