We can all stop speculating about whether or not a PlayStation version of Super Smash Bros. is in development. Sony and SuperBot confirmed the existence of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal this morning on the PlayStation Blog. This game is taking well known characters from the PlayStation family and throwing them into fast paced, nostalgia-filled battles.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal is a four-player game which has single player and multiplayer modes. Players can also choose to team up for two-on-two battles if they prefer.
One of the main selling points of this game will be the characters. Although a full of characters hasn’t been revealed, we do know of a handful of familiar faces that will join the fight. Expect to see Kratos, PaRappa, Fat Princess, Sweet Tooth and Sly Cooper. We’ll be sure to learn more details at E3. Until then, enjoy this reveal video.
