A trailer for Rayman Legends has leaked onto the internet ahead of its official reveal. Rayman Legends will be released for the Wii U and will even have exclusive content just for that console. The Wii U will also use its built-in NFC (near field communication) technology to transport the likeness of physical figurines into Rayman Legends.
Rayman Legends appears to be a gorgeously animated side scrolling game just like Rayman Origins. While its premise is open to interpretation, the leaked video reveals features such as multiplayer and social gaming. The Wii U version of Rayman Legends will also allow four people to play together. Three players will control character movement on the screen using Wii Remotes, while another player uses the Wii U controller to manipulate the environment.
The end of the video also shows how the Wii U controller can scan figurines into the game such as Rabbids and even Ezio from Assassin’s Creed.
