Namco-Bandai recently sent me a copy of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 for PS2 to review (currently in stores), along with a promotional figure.
The figure appears to have been made in 2002 (from the “Copyright 2002 Masashi Kishimoto” sticker on the bottom) and is one of six in the Naruto Figure Series 2 figures: Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Neji, Rock Lee and Orochimaru.
I received Sasuke and I’m sure other journalists received one random figure. My Sasuke figure came in six pieces, with most of it consisting of separated pieces of the purple fiery swirl that surrounds Sasuke and a flat base piece to hold it all together.
In typical Japanese Fashion, the figure looked impossible to put together without instructions but proved to be super simple due to the clever, unique placement of pegs and holes. so there was only one way to put it together.
For those of you who collect these cool pieces – that usually sell for $10 each – I’ve scanned the box for you to enjoy. The narrow panels are the two side pieces,which show all six figures in the set. I skipped the zip top since it was pretty chopped up after opening the box.
I haven’t cracked open the game yet but I’ll post comments once I do.

nice naruto models, wonder if there are Naruto Shippuuden ones.
