Duke Nukem Forever is not a good game. I know, you know it and I’m pretty sure Gearbox knows it. The people who purchased this game mostly did so out of a perceived obligation. The highly elusive Duke Nukem Forever was finally brought to masses, and it almost felt like we had to make amends with ourselves for wanting this game to be completed so badly by buying it. Now that the honeymoon is over, it’s time for Best Buy to get Duke away from other games as quickly (and cheaply) as possible.

Here’s the deal. Best Buy will sell you Duke Nukem Forever for $2.99 on PS3 and Xbox 360. It even comes with free shipping. As of right now, DNF is sold out on Xbox 360, but the PS3 version still has some copies hanging around waiting to be claimed.

It also came to my attention that Best Buy’s retail stores are also honoring this deal.

For that price, I’ll say DNF is worth having around as a grim reminder of what can happen when there are far too many chefs in the kitchen.
