The Kickstarter project to create a remake of Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards was a big success. This means the game will likely come to Android, iOS, PC Mac, Linux, XBLA and PSN at some point in 2013. Replay Games originally wanted to release the game in October, but it decided to use all the extra money from Kickstarter and PayPal to add more content. Leisure Suit Larry will now have a new girl, new dialogue and more rooms.
The president of Replay Games explained the situation further in an update on the project’s Kickstarter page.
Replay Games originally asked for $500,000 to fund development on the game, but it ended up getting $655,182 from 14,081 backers on Kickstarter. When you add up PayPal contributions, Replay came away with $673,602.
