One of Sonic the Hedgehog’s greatest enemies, Metal Sonic is back in Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 2. Metal Sonic is partnering with Dr. Eggman and there’s no way that’s a good thing. Sonic will have help from his old pal Tails, however. The pair have new combination moves and will battle through four zones for truth, justice and the right to run really, really fast. You can use them online or in local co-op. If you already own Episode 1, purchasing the new game will unlock Episode Metal. That adventure tells how Metal Sonic returned to give our favorite hedgehog even more grief. Episode 2 is 1200 MP. ($15)

There’s even more old school flavor as Dragon’s Lair finds its way to the arcade. The tale of brave knight Dirk the Daring now includes avatar items, gamerpics and Kinect-based controls. That’s right, you can do actual swinging with an imaginary sword to save the beautiful princess. Dragon’s Lair is 800 MP. ($10) If you’ve never played this game, it’s worth experiencing for Don Bluth’s beautiful animation alone.

JamParty is the latest music game to hit the arcade. You can try to climb the leaderboards as with most music games, but there’s more. You can actually create new music in Jam Party and share it with people all over the world. If you just want to live out your rockstar fantasy in the privacy of your own home, that’s fine too. JamParty is 800 MP.

There are a couple of sales to take advantage of.  The Deal of the Week is on Kinect games. Fruit Ninja Kinect is 560 MP. Hole in the Wall, Leedmees, Rhythm Party, Double Fine Happy Action Theater and Haunt are all 400 MP.

Microsoft Studios is having a publisher sale. There are discounts on everything from full games such as Orcs Must Die to add-ons such as RAAM’s Shadow for Gears of War 3.
