Glu Mobile now sells monthly subscriptions through Frontline Commando on Android

Google revealed a brand new way for developers to constantly take money out of our wallets today. In-app subscriptions are now available for developers to implement through Google Play. In-app subscriptions allow developers to automatically deduct a certain amount of money from subscribers every month in exchange for certain benefits. Glu Mobile is one of the first developers to try in-app subscriptions with Frontline Commando.
Frontline Commando provides Glu with another avenue to distribute its VIP membership packages. For $9.99 a month, Gold members will get 520 Glu Credits that can be spent across Glu’s games, no in-game ads and a chance to win a monthly prize. There is also a Silver Glu membership that gives 150 Glu Credits for $4.99 a month.
