Carmageddon: Reincarnation blows past its Kickstarter goal

Despite being pretty far away from its $400,000 goal about a week ago, Carmageddon fans have rallied to give Stainless Games the funding it needs to create Carmageddon: Reincarnation. Kickstarter donations now stand at $414,030 with 10 days remaining.

Stainless Games plans on releasing Carmageddon: Reincarnation by February of 2013. It’ll initially be a PC release, but there’s a chance the game will be ported to consoles and mobile devices if funding goes through the roof. There’s also going to be DLC for Carmageddon: Reincarnation, and Kickstarter backers will get it all for free. The community will also be able to create their own mods as well.
