iPhone and iPod Touch gaming update for June 4, 2012

The iPhone and iPod Touch gaming update is GamerTell’s weekly look at the previous week’s iPhone and iPod Touch games released in the Apple App Store. We cover them all – good and not so good. The list is available every Monday, right as you are about to start that long work week.

WWDC is June 11, 2012. This is our event, iPhone owners. This is usually when Apple shows of the future of the iPhone and iOS platform and maybe even some other surprises. So what do you folks think the next iPhone will be like? How drastically will Apple change the design? Can I please get my holographic display? Only 7 days until we find out. For now though, here’s some good gaming goodness for this week:

Take on the role of Prince Cyprus in Avenger. Demons have invaded and you must repel them in this $1.99 action-adventure game. At first glance, it reminds me a lot of Castlevania games. It includes different weapons with different attack styles, enchanting system and combo system to get a better score and various awards.

Speedway GP 2012 makes its $1.99 return, bringing with it 15 different riders and 12 circuits to let out your adrenaline junkie on. Choose from two game modes and acquire new equipment to become the most fearless racer on the track.

Pixel Breaker is a free and different take on the classic Brick Breaker game. There are 32 normal levels (complete with boss battles) or choose the endless mode to keep the ball breaking. Use all sorts of techniques to keep breaking including missiles and triple balls.
