About three months ago, Sony showed off a post-apocalyptic multiplayer shooter called No Man’s Land. This PlayStation Home game is part of Sony’s strategy to engage more core gamers in Home. What better way to do that than handing them machine gun right? No Man’s Land will debut in PlayStation Home this Wednesday (June 20). It’ll be free-to-play, but you can spend real money to unlock things such as premium weapons and armor. The PlayStation Blog says these premium items “affect rate of fire, player speed, resistance, and more.” Based on that quote, I’m worried No Man’s Land may turn out to be a pay-to-win game.
No Man’s Land will have team deathmatch and a scavenger mode when it’s released. Scavenger mode will have teams grabbing salvage and taking it back to their base without getting killed. More content for No Man’s Land is planned for the future.
