Sony’s Summer Sale 2012 discounts 12 PSN games

You might have to recharge your PSN wallet this weekend. Sony’s just announced its Summer Sale 2012. That means between July 3-9, 2012, people who visit the PlayStation Store can get pretty awesome PS3 games for quite a bit cheaper than usual. PlayStation Plus members get the best bonus, as the 11 sale games are 50% off for them. People who haven’t taken part in PlayStation Plus only get a 30% discount.

Here’s the list of what’s available and the prices you’ll pay for them next week. In each case, the cheaper of the two prices is the PSN+ user price.

• Shadow of the Colossus HD – $9.79, $13.99
• Worms Ultimate Mayhem – $7.34, $10.49

I highly recommend Shadow of the Colossus HD, if you don’t already have it. I’d recommend grabbing the full Ico/Shadow of the Colossus Collection instead. I’ve heard good things about inFamous Festival of Blood and Closure too.
