Well that was fast wasn’t it? The newest content update for Dead Trigger is now live a day after it was announced. The update is available from Google Play, and the iOS version is coming “soon”. To find the update, go to your apps section within Google Play. You may have to refresh the page in order to see the update option. This update adds new weapons, zombies, maps, modes and cloud saves to Dead Trigger. The update itself is free, but the game’s somewhat controversial in-app purchases will remain. Madfinger Games is standing by its decision to make Dead Trigger widely accessible by charging $0.99 for the game and implementing microtransactions.
Check back in later today for our take on how well the cloud save feature works.
Update: The update is apparently causing major force close issues on the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7 running Android 4.1.1. Madfinger is advising players to not download the update at this time if they own those devices. The issue is being worked out with Google.
