Major League Baseball 2K7

2K Sports announced new downloadable content for Major League Baseball 2K7 on the Xbox Live Marketplace. This new content, when combined, is almost enough to make-up an entire expansion pack, if it were for PC, that is. Including, historic stadiums, signature animations, and even scanned facial models.

The historic stadiums consist of: Forbes Field, Sportsman’s Park, the Polo Grounds, Griffith Stadium, Shibe Park, and Crosley Field. In order to experience these authentic stadiums, gamers will have to either buy them in pairs for 300 Microsoft Points or the whole pack for 800 points. Don’t worry though, if you’re a poor man’s gamer, 2K Sports is also dishing out a free download that’ll give you the facial scans of Norma Garciaparra, Victor Martinez and Hideki Okajima, updated uniforms, signature style animations for key players and Olympic Stadium.

So if throwing a ball at a guy with a stick suits your fancy, then this new downloadable content will put you in baseball heaven. Go forth and download your little heart out.
