The Square Enix Final Fantasy Gallery is now open in Japan and it was the site of a very major Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary announcement. If you ever missed out on any of the Final Fantasy games, or simply want a pristine, extra copy of each one, you’ve got your wish. On December 18, 2012, the Japanese Square Enix e-Stop will carry the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box.

The Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box has almost every numbered Final Fantasy game ever. The only one not included is Final Fantasy XIV. (Perhaps Square Enix is ashamed of it?) Still, it’s impressive to get the following conglomeration of PS1, PSP, PS2 and PS3 games in one package.

Here’s the list of games and their platforms. I hope you’re a Sony fan.

  • Final Fantasy (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy II (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy III (PSP)
  • Final Fantasy IV (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy V (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VI (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VII International (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy VIII (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy IX (PS1)
  • Final Fantasy X (PS2)
  • Final Fantasy XI Vana Diel Collection (PS2)
  • Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
  • Final Fantasy XIII (PS3)

Some other extras are included in the box. You get a 2 disc CD complication of music from the series, Crystal ArtWorks artbook, a video disc, a code to get a Mogu Mogu earring for your character in Final Fantasy XIV and a mini FF 25th Anniversary piece of artwork Yoshitaka Amano did for the series. (I guess FFXIV wasn’t forgotten after all!) The box will cost ¥35,000 (~$445) and unless you have a Japanese PS1 and PS2 to play all the region-locked games, you should probably pass on it.
