Today we have to call attention to a t-shirt that will make people do a double take. Ript Apparel, one of those “limited time” t-shirt sites, has a new design up for September 4, 2012 and it’s pretty ingenious. An artist named fanboy30 submited a design called Portalmon, it got picked and now you can get it on a t-shirt, hoodie or onesie today.
The reason Portalmon is so incredible is its subtlety. Instead of a pokeball, it features Wheatley from Portal 2 with a pokeball paint job. The lettering is in the standard Pokemon fonts, but instead say “Portalmon” and “Gotta test ‘em all!” It’s very well done and unless someone really looks, they could easily mistake it for a standard Pokemon shirt with a glance.
Now, since this is a Ript Apparel design, it means you have options when it comes to buying. You can get an adult-size mens or womens t-shirt for $10 or a child-sized shirt for $15. You can also get the design on a onesie for a baby for $18. If Portalmon really struck your fancy, you can go all out and pay $38 to get it put on a hoodie.
