On Tuesday afternoon, Sony announced PS3 firmware 4.25 would be coming down the pipeline soon. The update started to roll out Tuesday evening. It’s best to boot up your console and get the update over with before it becomes a burden on you in the future. This update’s main function is increasing the cloud storage space for PlayStation Plus from 150MB to 1GB. If you’re not a PlayStation Plus member, this update won’t make any noticeable changes to your overall experience. I’m sure Sony made some tweaks under the hood, but it’s likely something too technical for most people to care about.
