The first Borderlands is available on the PlayStation Network for $20 (or free if you’re a PS Plus member), and its sequel is getting the same treatment. According to the PlayStation Blogcast , Borderlands 2 will be available in the North American PlayStation Store as a download for $59.99 on the same day the physical copy is sold at retail. There’s an upside and a downside to this. On one hand, you don’t have to go to the store to get your copy of Borderlands 2, on the other hand, pre-orders at retail will get you into the Premier Club which includes in-game content and the upcoming Mechromancer DLC. It hasn’t been made clear if PSN downloads will come with that content. If it does, Sony needs to make that fact known quickly.
