Duke Nukem Mobile was originally released during a time before smartphones. If Machineworks can raise $45,000, we’ll have to ability to download both Duke Nukem Mobile and Duke Nukem Bikini Project for free in the Apple App Store.
Now here is where things get a little less awesome. Both games are going to be free-to-play. Machineworks plans to sell in-game currency called “Duke Cash” to purchase weapon upgrades, levels and other customization options. Those who choose to back them game on Kickstarter will get the amount they pledged rewarded back to them in the form of Duke Cash.
I personally don’t think there are enough people that want to play an old cell phone game again, but those who do have 20 days to back the project.
