Even though the Tokyo Game Show is primarily about new games coming to Japan, we often get some North American and European announcements as well. Capcom, for example, decided to use TGS 2012 to reveal Okami HD screenshots, video and North American debut news. Basically, on October 30, 2012, it will be added to the PlayStation Store for $19.99.

Capcom also used the event as an excuse to show off how pretty Okami HD is. A special TGS 2012 trailer was released and it looks very nice.

Don’t worry about having a Move or not. It’s compatible with the Move controllers or the standard DualShock 3. Just use the one you like best.

I think Capcom had the right idea with Okami HD. The HD remaster really makes a difference, the addition of option Move controls is helpful and the price is right. You can’t go wrong with $19.99, especially since you’d probably pay the same price for a PS2 copy of Okami.

Now, all we need to see is if Okami HD has the full ending, or the trunicated one that appeared in the Wii port.
