The iPhone and iPod Touch gaming update is GamerTell’s weekly look at the previous week’s iPhone and iPod Touch games released in the Apple App Store. We cover them all – good and not so good. The list is available every Monday, right as you are about to start that long work week.

By now, iPhone 5 devices are in people’s hands across the country. If you have one, how is it? One thing that does interest me as an iOS gamer is that little bit of extra screen real estate. Is it enough to make things much more comfortable playing?

As stated in the teaser, this week’s gaming update is star studded. You should have no problem finding something worth playing this week so without further ado:

Rayman Jungle Run hops onto your iOS device in this $2.99 platformer. With retina graphics, unlockable levels, powers, and wallpaper, cloud save support and those infamous Game Center leaderboards, this is a fast paced platformer for the Rayman fan on the go.

What happens when you mash up Pandora’s Box and two of the top rated fighting game franchises? Alright, take that idea and place it on the iOS and that’s Street Fighter X Tekken Mobile in a nutshell. At the sale price of $2.99, you too can take place in 3D 2v2 battles with your favorite franchise characters. Capcom promises this game was designed for the iOS platform so you don’t have to worry about an awkward port.

Lunar Silver Star Story Touch is now available on iOS for $6.99. Let that sink in for a moment. The story follows a wannabe Dragonmaster named Alex as he sets on an epic adventure in search of heroic recognition. Sporting a new interface to be more accessible for iOS devices, this version of the classic RPG promises remastered music and voice tracks and Game Center support.
