Basically, it’s a soundtrack dream for Portal fans. You get 77 songs and a comic book. You also get an insert with that awesome cover art at the left. Amazon already has a product listing for Portal 2: Songs to Test By. The current price is $17.30, which isn’t bad considering what you’re getting.
Now, if you don’t want to pay $17.30 and get four CDs filled with Portal and Portal 2 music, you don’t have to. You can download the three CD, 64 song filled Portal 2 collection directly from Valve for free. Just visit the Portal 2 website. It even has ringtones.
However, going that route does leave out some nifty features of the full Portal 2: Songs to Test By Collector’s Edition set. That soundtrack collection has 4 CDs, with the fourth featuring the 13 songs from the original Portal. It also has the Turret Lullaby comic included in the case. Of course, it’s also $17.30 more expensive than the other option so it’s up to you as to which you’d prefer.
