Metal Compass believes your smartphone needs a gun peripheral
There is a niche market for augmented reality shooting games on mobile devices. These games use a smartphone’s camera and accompanying software to bring actual gameplay into the real world. In an attempt to make this experience more enjoyable, a company called Metal Compass is releasing a peripheral for smartphones called the XAPPR gun.

Mass Effect 3 demo comes with temporary Xbox Live Gold subscription

Capcom’s Resident Evil 6 strategy targets Xbox 360 owners
Sometimes videogame publishers tend to gravitate towards a certain console when promoting multiplatform games. Activision for example clearly favors the Xbox 360 with its Call of Duty games, and Ubisoft gives the PS3 a slight advantage with the Assassin’s Creed franchise. An EA game without an Online Pass? Madness!
Syndicate will not require EA’s Online Pass when it is released. This is somewhat unusual since EA tends to tie its Online Pass into its multiplayer (and single-player) games.
