Good news is on the way for 3DS owners! You now can do more than just blankly stare at some names on your friends’ list whenever you log on. Swapnote is on the horizon! That is, the messaging service for the 3DS that allows people to send messages to other 3DS owners via StreetPass and SpotPass. Granted, it isn’t in two region’s stores just yet, but it will be soon.

Right now, only Japanese 3DS owners have access to Swapnote….

Meet ePawn Arena – a 26-inch interactive gaming screen

ePawn, a company based in Paris, France, is set to reveal a very interesting product at CES 2012 next month. It’s called ePawn Arena, and it hopes to become another primary way in which we interact with games. ePawn Arena is hoping to capture success due to the very positive reaction to toy-dependent games such as Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. It’ll do this by offering a 26-inch tablet-like display along with real game pieces.

Casual Friday update for July 9 – 15, 2011

Last week’s Casual Friday game update was rather sparce, but you don’t have to worry about that this week. There are 10 new games available, some of them even playable on Mac and Linux computers. So trust me, you’ll be set. Plus, some of these seem lke pretty big releases. Vampire Saga: Welcome to Hell Lock (Windows) was released practically everywhere.
