Bigfoot Networks specializes in products that are used to increase the speed of your internet connection. Bigfoot has embraced the gaming community by doing things such as incorporating the technology from its Killer 2100 gaming network card into the Asus Rampage III Black Edition motherboard. This motherboard is being marketed to PC gamers looking to get an extra kick out of their internet connections. Bigfoot has now set its sights on improving the speed of wireless networks as well.

Mad Catz has been flooding us with products lately. From BrawlPads to FightSticks, Mad Catz is covering as many bases as possible. The company’s latest product announcement is for a new set of both wired and wireless headphones for the Xbox 360. These won’t just be typical third-party headphones. Mad Catz and Microsoft are putting their heads together in designing both products. Mad Catz expects the headphones to be available during the 2011 holiday season.
Amazon temporarily takes 40% off the price of 21 gaming accessories
Amazon’s got a video game accessory sale event going on right now. It doesn’t have a fancy name, but a practical promotion like this doesn’t really need one. For a limited amount of time, 21 accessories and peripherals are on sale for up to 40% off the regular prices. We don’t know exactly how limited it is though, since Amazon never lists beginning and end dates for sales like this. If you see something you like, you should probably act quickly.

CES 2011: AikenLabs has a few axes to grind
You get some pretty strange, fun swag at conventions. At CES I was walking by the AikenLabs booth when a cheery woman handed me a foam axe. Needless to say, I had to find out what axes had to do with their product.

Micro Center’s Black Friday 2010 electronics, Apple and game deals
Electronics and game store Microcenter has published its Black Friday 2010 ad with plenty o’ computer (Mac and non-Mac), electronics, tech and gaming deals.
Most of the sale items are limited to “one per household” and are in-store only deals.
It’s worth nothing that Microcenter is also one of the few stores that has a dedicated Apple department that sells more than just iPod junk.
