Companies are really jumping on the practice of taking toys and pairing them with videogames. Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventures showed us there is a really big market for this kind of thing. Fans of BioWare and EA’s Mass Effect series will be pleased to know there’s a whole new line of collectibles to, well, collect. Get ready for action figures. Actually, the odds are you’ve been ready for some time. The first batch of figures, which featured pint-sized replicas of John Shepard, Grunt, Tali and Thane actually was released by DC Direct in limited quantities. However, the second series never appeared, the first series vanished and no one knew if we’d ever see any of them again.

Minecraft creations may soon find their way from the virtual world into the real one. Since the indie darling became an internet phenomena, fans have been using Legos to create custom creations inspired by it. Now, Mojang has stopped by the Lego Cuusoo site to show its support for Minecraft Legos and reveal it’s hope for official sets.
