Future Capcom fighters may have better developed stories

Storytelling has never been the strong point of most technical fighting games and, for the most part, players don’t seem to mind. However, the cries of a Capcom fan requesting better story modes has been responded to by a Capcom employee who revealed, funnily enough, that Capcom are thinking along the same lines.

On the Capcom official forums, corporate officer/senior vice-president Christian Svensson had the following to say

Unite Gaming put in an impressive run at the MLG Dallas Pro Circuit for Call of Duty: Black Ops II March 15-17. They finished second, but the rules for the Activision-run Call of Duty Championship are slightly different. Major League Gaming Winter Championship: KT Rolster B Wins International Exhibition

KT Rolster B won the MLG Winter Championship’s International Exhibition for League of Legends, taking home a cool $10,000. They defeated European eSports team Gambit Gaming in three games. Gambit formed from the ashes of Moscow Five. That team lost its funding after its CEO, Dmitry Smelyi got arrested in an FBI cyber crimes sting. BenQ Global jumped in to sponsor them. The finish here indicates they haven’t missed a beat. They walk away with $5,000.

UNiTE’s Clayster began their Winter Championship Winners Bracket match by talking a little friendly trash to OpTic Gaming. He and his team proceeded to back every bit of it up. UNiTE thrashed OpTic 3-0 in the final match of the night, sending them into a Losers Bracket in name only. Some of the world’s best teams are in that bracket, meaning OpTic will have a fight on their hands if they hope to avenge this loss. OpTic is a polarizing, love ‘em or hate ‘em kind of squad.
