World of Goo is now available on Android
It has been a long time coming, but World of Goo is officially available in the Android Market for devices running Android 2.2 and higher. The game is selling for $2.99, which is the same price as the non-HD iOS version. After December 5, the price will increase by 40 percent. It may be pricier than most games, but World of Goo never disappoints.

World of Goo has appeared on the Wii, PC and Mac but hadn’t made the leap onto handhelds. World of Goo certainly has the brand recognition and critical acclaim to grace every platform available, but the game was a hot commodity to pirates. Still, 2D Boy has weathered this storm and is bringing its game to the iPad for the reasonable price of $9.99

2D Boy is taking a different approach to celebrating World of Goo’s first birthday. Instead of receiving tons of presents, 2D Boy decided to give us World of Goo for a discount of our choosing.

World of Goo PC demo now available for download
World of Goo is a physics-based puzzle game developed by independent developer 2D Boy — a two man organization founded by ex-Electronic Arts employees Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel. It was released as both a WiiWare and Windows PC download earlier this week (October 13, 2008).
World of Goo first entered the spotlight when it received the Design Innovation and Technical Excellence awards at the 2008 Independent Games Festival, in addition to being nominated for the Seumas McNally Grand Prize award (which was eventually given to Kloonigames’s Crayon Physics Deluxe).
