Now that Nintendo has finally announced a release date and price for the 3DS in North America, we can begin fantasizing about running out and buying one. While Nintendo of America had the attention of New York City, Nintendo’s European wing was playing to the crowd in Amsterdam. For the most part, Nintendo announced the same thing for both regions. There were of course some differences including price, the release date and 3D video content.

Animation studio Aardman Animation is partnering with Ubisoft to create several short films and a series pilot using the deranged characters from the Ravin Rabbids games. Everyone knows the insane yet adorable Rabbids from the Rayman Raving Rabbids games. They closely resemble rabbits only they have huge eyes, even huger mouths, and usually a plunger or two stuck to them.

Wallace the nutty inventor and his faithful dog Gromit are back in their new adventure, The Last Resort. In this one, the duo and the rest of their town are ready for a nice beach vacation or holiday as they say in jolly ol’ England. The problem is, the forecast says rain all summer long. No good.

Wallace comes up with the great idea to make a beach resort right in his own basement. He then decides that everyone in town would enjoy his resort and soon he has his own little business. Which, of course comes with problems.
