Namco Bandai makes huge announcements at Level Up in Dubai
Namco Bandai held its annual, amazing, Level Up event in Dubai yesterday and tons of major announcements were made. Seriously, this news is easily E3 level. Not a bad idea really, considering it means everyone will be talking about all the Namco Bandai games now and they won’t get lost in the shuffle in June.
Since there’s tons of news to go over, let’s start by looking at some of the console games we’ll be seeing in 2011 and 2012…
Preview: Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X
A month after Ubisoft announced it had acquired the rights to the entire Tom Clancy universe, Ubisoft debuted a new independent Clancy game. Surprisingly, it isn’t a tactical shooter. It’s a flight simulator.
Titled Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X, (apparently thinking it is still cool to misspell words with an “X”) Ubisoft is hoping to take a chunk out of Namco’s popular flight simulation game, the Ace Combat Series. New Ace Combat 6 aircraft for download through Xbox Live
Fans of Namco Bandai’s Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, will get the chance to add new aircraft to the already impressive squadron through downloadable content on Xbox Live, starting Thursday, January 31st.
The new aircraft, most of which are European, will feature new design skins while others have been featured in previous games within the franchise. One of the planes will be offered as a free download, while four will cost 200 Microsoft Points and the last one costs 400 MS points.
The six new aircraft will be able to be played in both the campaign and multiplayer modes. These aircrafts will add to the last update that was in November of 2007. There were 5 downloadable planes then.

Namco Bandai announces its E3 2007 lineup
Namco Bandai games America revealed its lineup of titles for E3 today (July 5, 2007), with 17 titles to be shown across every major platform. The games all fall squarely within the realm of franchise sequels, with installments from the Ace Combat, Katamari, Dynasty Warriors, Digimon World, Naruto, Namco Museum, .hack//G.U., Soul Calibur, Time Crisis, Smash Court Tennis, Tales, and Tycoon series.
