Lavasoft, which is well known for its successful Ad-Aware series of anti-spyware and anti-virus software, has just released Ad-Aware Game Edition. The program is designed specifically to protect gamers from malware they may run across while playing their favorite games or MMOs. The program offers real-time protection, is continually protecting your computer even in full screen mode, won’t bother you with multiple pop-ups warning of threats or dangers and is doesn’t put a strain on your computer’s resources. As with most anti-malware programs, it also allows you to set automatic scans.

The Ad-Aware Game Edition program costs $24.95 for a one year license. That means, throughout that one year period, you’ll always have the most up-to-date protection.
