Amazon’s Black Friday game deals last until the end of the month

If you are all depressed because you missed the Black Friday deals on Amazon, well you can relax because the deals last all the way ’til Monday, November 30, 2009.

Amazon has always had great deals on video games but they pulled out all the stops for the holidays.

First, hundreds of games and accessories are discounted. They even allow you to view the deals that are under $10, under $25, and under $50 separately to make it easier to find what you are looking to spend. There is also console deals like you can get Left4Dead 2 for Xbox 360, free, when you purchase an Xbox 360 Elite console.

Amazon offering $10 gift card with purchase of New Super Mario Bros. Wii

New Super Mario Bros. Wii has the potential to be the biggest title of the year on Nintendo’s console and Amazon is offering $10 off a future game purchase if purchase the game through them.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is not just a straight port of the classic platformer. New features include two Toads as playable characters in addition to Mario and Luigi and the ability to ride Yoshi characters. Multiplayer mode includes 2- to 4-player options and Mario can now transform into Penguin Mario.

Indie game developer, distributor Reflexive acquired by Amazon

Reflexive Entertainment, an independent game developer and the company responsible for the Reflexive Arcade — a casual game download portal located at (Reflexive.com), has been acquired by Amazon.com. Reflexive CEO Lars Brubaker made the announcement on his official company blog earlier this week (October 20, 2008).

Reflexive was originally founded in 1997 with the simple aim to “make great games.” Since then, it has released fifteen of its own independent titles in addition to distributing a slew of additional casual games via the Reflexive Arcade, which launched in 2003 alongside Crimsonland.
