TGS 2011: Persona 4 The Ultimate Mayonaka Arena’s arcade cabinet’s on the show floor

Wow, Teddy’s Persona 4 fighting tournament is getting a lot of attention. Wait, I should step back and start over. Arc System Works and Atlus’ fighting game collaboration based on the Persona 4 PS2 game may not be appearing until 2012, but it’s getting lots of love. It’s showing up at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show in a playable form, and people can stop by the arcade cabinet to see what it’s like to play a fighting game inspired by a JRPG.

The P4: UMA demo isn’t actually the full game yet. It’s close enough to give people a good idea of what to expect though…

Vita gets Persona 4: The Golden

Great. Now I have to buy a Vita. See, there’s a new Persona game coming out. rather, it’s an old version with new content. Remember Persona 4? Well, when it comes out on the PlayStation Vita in 2012, it’ll be called Persona 4: The Golden. Yes, it’s Persona 3: FES all over again!

Famitsu had the exclusive Persona 4: The Golden reveal, and mentioned a bit of new content that will be included in this release. Half of it sounds really good, and the other half just sounds like stuff that really wouldn’t make it worth buying again…

BlazBlue Continuum Shift II takes on the PSP and 3DS in May

Good news about BlazBlue Continuum Shift II! It isn’t just coming to the 3DS, it’s also going to appear on the PSP. It isn’t that big a surprise, considering was released on both systems in Japan, but Aksys has only just revealed that it will be bringing both versions to North America on May 31, 2011.

PS3 and Xbox 360 owners should be jealous, as the portable incarnations of Continuum Shift are going to be the premier editions…

Arcana Heart 3 is a 2D fighting game from Arc System Works…

Japan Import: BlazBlue Continuum Shift goes portable

BlazBlue is going portable again, and it’s going to include some extra features that may make Xbox 360 and PS3 owners BlazBlue: Continuum Shift a little jealous. Arc System Works is going to release BlazBlue Continuum Shift II on the PSP in Spring 2011. Don’t let the II part fool you – it’s pretty much just a PSP port of BlazBlue Continuum Shift

Gamertell Review: BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

Arc System Works is known for creating intricate, 2D fighters, and in June 2009 it released BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, a spiritual successor to the Guilty Gear series of games. Now, a little over a year later, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift has blasted onto the scene. Those unfamiliar with the series might mistake it for a slightly modified version of Calamity Trigger, but it is full sequel with new modes, new difficulty levels, new characters and new moves for existing characters…

TGS 2010: Arc System Works brings Arcana Heart 3 and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift

Arc Systems Works is going to have its very own booth at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show. I know, it’s a little surprising since its a small developer and publisher that mainly works on fighting games, but it’s true. The company even set up its own, small, TGS 2010 website.

That Arc System Works website is one that TGS 2010 attendees will desperately need. The company is only going to have two games at the show, Arcana Heart 3 (PS3, Xbox 360) and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (PS3, Xbox 360), but they will only be able to be played at certain times…
